You can edit your pictures from your
albums. Our editing tools provide many tools including
rotate, brighten, sharpen, blur, crop, and grayscale to
name a few. Click the Undo button at any time to reverse
the last action you did, or Reset to reverse all the
edits you made to the image.
To edit your
picture:
Click the "Edit: Image" link located
under the photo you want to edit. The "Image Edit" page
appears with five tabs (Essential Tools, Effects,
Textures, Templates, Edges). A number of options are
available within each tab by selecting the various drop
down menus.
|
To rotate the picture, on the
Essential Tools tab, select the drop down option
"Rotate 90 CW" (CW = Clockwise) or "Rotate 90 CCW"
(CCW = Counter-clockwise)". Once you have selected
the drop down option, click the Apply button.
To crop the image select "Crop" from
the "Essential Tools" drop down. To superimpose a
standard print size grid over your image select
the appropriate grid from the "Print Size"
dropdown or leave unconstrained to create your own
grid size. Next select Landscape or Portrait
format. You can now use your mouse to move the
grid lines around to your satisfaction.
To flip the image, select either "Mirror
Horizontal" or "Mirror Vertical from the drop-down
tools list. The Brightness effect makes the
grays whiter and has the effect of lightening the
entire image..
To brighten the image,
select the "Brightness and Contrast" tool from the
drop-down list. Click in the adjustment bar to
alter the brightness and contrast. The
Brightness effect makes the grays whiter and has
the effect of lightening the entire image.
To sharpen the image, select "Sharpen"
from the drop-down list. You can choose from
between 0% and 100%. We recommend starting with a
10% change to evaluate its effect.
To
blur the image, select the Effects tab and make
sure Blur is selected from the drop-down list.
Click in the adjustment bar to alter the amount of
blur. Blur is the opposite of Sharpen, decreasing
the contrast between pixels.
To add
textures to the image, select the Textures tab and
select a texture. Click in the adjustment bar to
alter the boldness of texture.
To add a
template to your image, select the Templates tab,
scroll through the available templates and select
one. Click in the adjustment bar to alter the
boldness of texture.

|
Be sure to experiment with all the various effects, textures, templates, zoom and edges to add your own personal creative touch to your images.
When you're finished with the editing changes, click "Save & Replace" if you want to replace the original photo with this edited version in your "Storage Bin", or click "Save as Copy" if you want to save this edited photo as a new image in your "Storage Bin".
If you decide not to accept the changes you have made, at any point you can click "Cancel" to discard all of your edits. |
